Amusement Rides 2: Summer 2004

This voulme features James Mellors Reverchon built Wild River Rapids on their first day open in Coventry.
The Rapids are not the only ride filmed opening for the first time. Held back from the lsat volume is a video of the 2nd Technical Park Street Fighter at Stapleford owned by Charles Gooch.
Also featured are the roller coasters of Fantasy Island in Linconshire and the Pleasure Beach's new machine - Bling! the first Star Shape in an amusement park.
Its not just the latest in hi-tech featured on this volume inlcuded are two classic rides in the form of Rowlands Ark said to be the last full time Ark traveling and Madens famous Moon Rocket the last know working example of the high speed ride.
Finally there is a look back at Winter Wonderland in London back in 2003 and a feature on James Mellors rides in the august sunset at the Nottingham Riverside Festival.
