Model Shows 2012 Amusement Rides DVD Tour

Here is a list of the model shows we have booked with information on where they are located and when they are open. We have put as much information on as we can to help people travel to the events. Details are subject to change without warning but we will try and keep this information as upto date as possible.

Where possible the maps show the nearest railway stations and main roads and motorways to give some bearing on where the event is actually help. The areas marked in blue is the location of the fairground while the pins indicate where model show is. The map can be zoomed in and out, scolled around, changed between satalite and road map view using the controls provided.

Churchdown Funfair Extravaganza

EVENT: Chuchdown Funfair Extravaganza
DATE: Saturday 14th January
OPENING TIMES: 10:30am - 5pm
ORGANISER: Bill Lane & Mike Willis

INFORMATION
In just a few short years this event has grown to become one of the biggest gatherings of fairground enthusiasts dispite there being no fair on and in the middle of winter!

A selection of Showmans transport will be located outside while inside will be a wide selection of models, trade stands, catering, raffle, slide shows, film shows and much more!

TRAVEL
Parking is provided at the rear of the community centre. The event is easy to spot on arrival thanks to a giant sign advertising the event.

There is no railway in Churchdown

Leeds Baby Valentines Fair

EVENT: Leeds Baby Valentines Fair
DATE: Sunday 26th February
OPENING TIMES: 12 noon - 5pm
ORGANISER: Owen Ralph

INFORMATION

The season opener model show is located along side one of the biggest early-season fairs.

Along with all the model and trade stands the event also features catering and a licenced bar.

TRAVEL

Parking is provided on the main fairground, just follow signs to Elland Road or Leeds United Football Club.

For those on public transport there is a bus service provided to the ground from The Headrow not far from Leeds main railway station.

Kirkcaldy Model Show

EVENT: Kirkcaldy Model Show
LOCATION, Linktown Church, Nicol Street
DATE: Saturday 21st April
OPENING TIMES: 10am - 4:30pm
ORGANISER: Archie Greaves

Located in the church hall just around the corner from Scotlands biggest Fair.
Inside there will be photos of Kirkcaldy Links Markets past as well as histroical photos of Scottish Fairgrounds generally.
There will also be several models on display along with trade stands.
Catering is also provided inside with hot and cold drinks and snacks along with a seating area.

Boston Model Show

EVENT: Boston Model Show
DATE: Saturday May 12th
OPENING TIMES: 10am - 5pm
ORGANISER: Ian & Daniel

INFORMATION

One of the newest model shows on the calendar. Boston Model show is now in its third year and is growning in popuality.

Model displays, trade stands and a raffel.

Catering is also provided in the tea room with seating.

TRAVEL

There is no public parking at the show but several pay and display carparks around the town.

Boston does have a railway station which is aound 15 minutes walk. Services are provided to Grantham, Nottingham, Lincoln, Sleaford and Skegness.
