Finally released online is Amusement Rides European Special 5 - Stuttgart Spring Festival
This year was an all-star line up of the German fair world. With Eurostar this time open in Hamburg (which would be its only fair of 2008 and its final fair) meant that Olympia Looping would take its place as the signature coaster this year. This was also joined by Hollenblitz which made its world première here a year ago. Other big attractions were Wild Wasser 1 log flume and the Belle Vue giant wheel.
However these were not the centre of attention for enthusiasts - they were waiting over the winter to see the much hyped Devil Rock. This Huss Flic-Flac was brought by the Hanstien family and extensively refurbished before having a limited end of season tour last year. Over the winter the ride had undergone a spectacular transformation into Devil Rock and is featured on the dvd in its new theme.
The DVD has been filmed and edited in a similar style to other European Specials with general shots mixed in between the main featured rides which I hope gives a general idea of the event.
